Partnachklamm is wild and romantic, Partnach Gorge is just 3 km southeast of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
This dramatic and rocky strait on the Partnach River is 702 meters long and has a depth of more than 80 meters. Although it is wonderful to explore it any time of the year, winter brings with it additional beauty under the guise of massive ice formations that cling to the cliff face.
Another notable limitation is Höllentalklamm, six kilometers southwest of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
