Preveli Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete. Located on the southern coast, it is located at the mouth of a small river and is surrounded by steep slopes on both sides, overlooking the Libyan Sea.
This beach can be easily reached from the North Coast in good ways, and is ideal for a one-day trip. However, keep in mind that from the car park you will have to walk for 30 minutes along a rocky road.
It may not seem difficult, but returning to the hot sunshine this afternoon will definitely be more stressful, so you should bring good shoes and plan accordingly. You can also reach Preveli Beach by boat from nearby Plakias.
