Villagio Mall is a shopping mall located in Aspire District in the western tip of Doha, the capital of Qatar. It is located on Al Waab Street between Hyatt Plaza and Sports City and houses more than 200 stores including many popular brands in the US, UK, Italy and Germany.
Inside, the interior design is inspired by an Italian hill town, but also with a 150-meter inner canal with gondolas.
The complex was partially reopened on September 20, 2012 after complying with strict safety standards after a fire in May killed 19 people. Parts of the mall remain closed as a result but the food court, ice rink, movie theater, Carrefour hypermarket and many more stores are open for business as more open.
