Opened in 1991, August Macke Haus is dedicated to the famous expressionist who lived there between 1911 and 1914.
Highlights of the museum include reconstructed interiors as well as artifacts and documents passed down by the artist's family, as well as frequent temporary exhibits. Guided tours are available.
