The Museum of Anthropology is located at the University of British Columbia and is a must not be missed if you want to learn more about the indigenous people around the world, including Indians of the North Coast of British Columbia known as the "First Nations".
Founded in 1949, the museum houses 38,000 dynasties and more than 500,000 artifacts, including objects used by indigenous people in their daily lives.
In addition to being a public museum it is also the largest educational museum in Canada, although it is difficult to imagine anyone doing the study with a magnificent view overlooking the sea and the mountains.
