Peak 2 Peak Gondola offers a high ride between the mountains. Although the distance covered is 4.4 kilometers, the journey takes only 11 minutes. On a clear day, the view is magnificent and overlooks the snow-capped mountains, alpine lakes and dense coniferous forests.
The look down Fitzsimmons Creek is also awe-inspiring - at gondola points approximately half a kilometer above the valley bottom. From spring to autumn, it's part of the Whistler-Blackcomb viewing experience, with guided alpine walking tours and many photo opportunities. At the peak, loop hiking trails introduce alpine terrain.
There is also a tea shack for warmth ups, as temperatures can be colder at high altitudes. In winter, skiers and snowboarders take advantage of the Peak 2 Peak gondola to jump between running on Blackcomb and Whistler.
