Mountain biking is definitely the most popular summer sport in Whistler Village, and all visitors will see hordes of drivers wearing shields heading to the slopes through the chairlift to Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

But the region offers many activities stimulated by adrenaline. The zip lining is one of the most exciting, and although it is somewhat chased, the striped lines reach highway speeds while flying through tree valleys. Another high-speed option is the Whistler sliding center-pople track and skeleton.

The center was created for the Olympic Games, and is also open for guided tours. There is more local excitement in the form of a bungee jump over the Chikamos River, stretching along the logging paths on off-road vehicles, and collecting the high water of the Spring Head.
