Pemberton is located northeast of Whistler, the next stop on Interstate 99. The settlement offers a wealth of outdoor activities, from golfing and mountain biking in summer to skiing and snowboarding in winter.
This area is mostly uninhabited, with lakes and mountains fed by glaciers surrounding the valleys. An easy road trip is Nairn Falls Provincial Park, where the Green River falls into a series of bustling waterfalls. The beautiful Geoffrey Lake Provincial Park is also worth searching to photograph the color of the tickling of the lakes
