Built in 1919, the magnificent neoclassical legislative building in Winnipeg was built of local Tyndale stone and Italian marble with a 72-meter-high dome with a bronze statue known as the Golden Boy.
The building contains regional legislative chambers, the Prime Minister's Office and some government departments, and is surrounded by a large garden decorated with statues and monuments.
