One of the most luxurious French castles ever built, ordered by King François I during the Renaissance in the style of medieval architectural castles. It is characterized by its spacious quadruple shape, which is 156 meters long and 117 meters wide.

The castle is also surrounded by its four round towers. The Chateau de Chambord is different from what is common in castle designs with these many windows, as well as with thin, steep ceilings topped by distinctive chimneys.

François I created the castle because of the hunting hobby that he loved to practice in the forests that surround the area.
