MuCEM is a stunning complex of three different locations, and this museum is distinguished by the fact that it has a great expansion of discoveries. Through museum exhibitions as well as lectures and film screenings, visitors can explore the history of Mediterranean civilization.

The newest part of the museum was built on the former J4 wharf by architect Rudy Ricciotti. This section deals with topics such as the invention of the gods, the treasures of the spice road, the visions of Jerusalem, and the seven wonders of the world.

The second stage of the museum is located in the vaulted rooms of Fort Saint-Jean, a historical monument dating back to the 12th century. Fort Saint-Jean has stunning Mediterranean gardens, accessible by a pedestrian bridge hanging over the sea. Here, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking picnic and enjoy panoramic views of the coast.

The third site is the Conservation Center (located in the Belle de Mai district), which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the museum, which represents one of Marseille's most fascinating tourist destinations.
