The busy harbor, Bregenz Hafen, serves commercial and pleasure boats as well as ferries to other lake towns.
A scenic one-hour cruise gives good views of the lake and the pretty harbor of Lindau, with its lighthouse and lion guarding its pleasure-boat basin.
