Lovely Green's Mill, once home of mathematical physicist George Green (1793-1841), was built in 1807 only to be rebuilt in the 1980s after a devastating fire in 1947.
Today, the amazing inner workings of the windmill can be seen over four floors, each of them providing an insight into the flour-making process. The science center itself is aimed at youngsters and includes a discovery zone with fun interactive displays.
